I used to do alot of night riding back when I was in school and had a job at a bike shop. All the guys i rode with did their riding at night because thier jobs kept them busy all day.I just did it because it was super fun.
That was many years ago. Now I am one of those guys who does not have enought hours in the day to do all the things I would like to do. I have started Night riding again, it is still super fun.
The beauty of night riding is that you can ride any trail you want, as fast as you want, and you will not have to worry about killing a hiker....
The downside is that it is totally illegal..... i have never gotten busted. (Knocking on wood as I type).
Anybody else ride at night? ever gotten busted?

Wed, April 4, 2007 - 11:43 PMI belive that all the parks close at dusk..your not supposes to be in there ater dark. Riding a bike after dark is pretty tame compared to the freaky shit that peopel do in parks after dark.
Rangers are usually prettty cool if you are not a total jackass, itis not that hard to talk your way out of a citation..
